New Indie Corner on Google Play

A new version of the Indie Corner is coming out on Google Play. This section of the Play store features games from small, independent developers. The latest batch of games looks like it has some good ones in it.

Starship App Alpha Test

I have been working on a space war Android app for about a year and half now. The game is called “Starship”. It is now ready for Alpha test and you are invited to participate.

Starship is a turn-based, single player, space war game. It is available for Android phones and tablets. Android API 10 and later are supported. The app can be downloaded via the Google Play store if you join the Starship Alpha Test community on Google+.

The game begins with you in training. You take on training missions that allow you to advance through the ranks of Weapons Officer, Navigator, Commander, and finally, Captain. Upon promotion to Captain, you command a very powerful starship. Your mission is to find and destroy alien starships that have invaded the galaxy. Continue reading
