Instant Apps for Games on Google Play

Instant apps are supposed to be a big win. I need to give it some thought. Many developers are seeing  improvements in user acquisition with the “Try Now” button in the Google Play store.

One of the challenges is figuring out what the Instant App should show. See minute 7 for an example of a mini-game.  Another pattern is “Game Highlights” as an instant app.

And for those interested in Unity … about 9:30 into the video. They talk about their Unity plugin. That is supposed to be available in the “coming weeks”.
